The Goo Inside 
I realize you typically do these in pencil, but is inking them totally out of the question for you? It’s really a question of personal preference in the end, but I think that black ink really makes a drawing pop. I had previously always used fine black pens for that job in my comics, but lately I’ve made the switch to using dip pens with various nibs, along with fine paint brushes. India ink I’m lovin’ it. “Ba-da-ba-ba-baa.” Send an email, yo.
